For anyone who wonders, yes, this is normal when two introverts visit each other, and it's completely fine. It's what we prefer. Non-introverts would probably find it horrifyingly awkward, but for us it's quite enjoyable. I remember when I was in high school we stayed with my grandparents for a month or so. Every evening, my grandpa and I would take a leisurely walk together and pick up trash on the side of the road. Very few words were said on any of those walks, and it was marvelous. Every introvert kid needs someone in their life who doesn't expect them to say anything, and who won't worry about saying anything back. Thankfully, Lewis is up for the job.
