After a short hiatus due to having to send my computer in to Apple for a bit of cosmetic repair, The Bird Feeder returns with an explanation for why squirrels like bird seed so much. I have no idea if packing your nuts in bird seed will keep them fresher longer. I just imagine some kind of used seed salesman roaming the neighborhood making things up in order to sell his wares. If you happen to know if packing your nuts in bird seed will do what is advertised here, then please tell me. Then I can feel smart.
