The double standards are the worst part of being an introvert and living in an extrovert society. I just don't see extroverts getting the same kind of advice. I'm told that I basically need to do things in order to be less of an introvert, but extroverts are told to do things to be more extroverted. I think they should have to do extremely uncomfortable things, too. Since I'm not an extrovert, I'm not sure what that would be, but if you are one, just think of the quietest, loneliest thing you can imagine and try to do it on a regular basis for... a lifetime. You'll get better at it eventually! I promise!
