The generation gap is a perennial problem. People who grow up in a certain era see things a certain way, and people who grow up in the succeeding era see it a different way. It's difficult to see it the same way, because we all look at things through a different lens. Looking at it through the lens of personal experience is far different from looking at it through the lens of history. I wonder if the gap will ever be bridged.
