This is actually more of a glaring mistake than Darryl's beak is. The color of Floyd's beak isn't even close to what it should really be. Real bluebirds also have a lot more orange on them, but I consciously chose to cut down on the amount of it for simplicity. Still, both Darryl and Floyd's beaks are inexcusable, and I apologize profusely to all bird enthusiasts out there. Just don't expect any changes.
Now, you may be wondering why Darryl appears in this one and not Floyd, since Darryl appeared in the last one about himself. It's because Darryl is the only character allowed to break the fourth wall, and is the only one who actually knows that he lives in a comic strip. So there.
