The interesting thing, as I’ve researched, is the crow is the first bird this worm has encountered that actually eats worms. Cardinals mostly eat seeds and insects and the chickadee is herbivorous. As for the other characters, hummingbirds eat nectar, of course, and bluebirds eat insects (and not seeds, so Floyd will never be seen at the feeder itself). Mockingbirds eat worms, but it’s already been established that Terry doesn’t like them.

Lewis, however, will only eat them as a part of a fine dining experience, and with mice. He also enjoys them fried with eggs for breakfast.
