I think that having weird dreams is far more interesting than hearing someone recount their weird dream. When I've tried to tell other people about strange dreams that I've had, I felt it impossible to convey how weird it felt, because the things that happened don't really sound that weird at all. I'd probably need to have some ominous background music and wave my arms around frantically for anyone to really care.
