The problem with New Year's resolutions isn't that people fail to do them, it's that they have a strange perception of how they must be accomplished. People seem to think they can only be made once, at the beginning of the year, and must be done perfectly or they haven't been kept. This is an impossible feat, but everyone seems to try to do it at the beginning of every year. Why not just make a resolution to do something, and if you mess up, re-resolve to continue to try to do it better instead of giving up at the first sign of faltering?
Well, whatever. If you must attempt the impossible yet again this year, good luck, I guess.
