I think many of us are guilty of coming up with a solution to something that is far more complicated than the one that is obvious to everyone else. My usual excuse for not choosing the simpler one is that I just like my solution better, though that's just because I'm not as ready to admit oversights as Darryl is. Still, Darryl's solution would still be good for when his wings got tired.
