I know nothing about children, but from my limited understanding of them it seems like they will only learn the things that they want to learn and will resist being taught anything else. If they learn anything that their parents try to teach them, it will enter their brains entirely by accident. Of course, I also know nothing about teaching, so anyone who knows better should feel free to ignore my opinions on the subject.

Also, the "chickadee-dee-dee" of the chickadee isn't technically their song but their call, but the kids obviously don't know the difference.
