The birds are apparently very conscious of recent events. While I normally don’t like being so specific in my strip’s social commentary, this is probably the most incredibly ridiculous thing that’s happened in recent years. I also don’t want to be any more specific about it than I have been, because I don’t want to expose people who don’t know about it to something so stupid and disturbing.

And if you happen to be one of those who don’t know what I’m talking about… be grateful.
