When I think about it, comic book heroes who aren’t as super are almost defined by their inability to fly, and comic book heroes who can fly are defined by that ability. Even The Flash, who all things considered has an amazing power set stemming from his super-speed ability, is seen as not nearly as super (judging by my conversations with comic book fans) because “Well, but he can’t fly, now can he?”

Therefore, I’d have to agree with Darryl here.
