When I was a kid, I liked toys that you could build stuff with, like LEGOs and Lincoln Logs. I still find them fun if I ever get my hands on them. The smaller logs, which just happened to be the ones that were more fun to play with, seemed to get lost behind things fairly often. I’d always find them again not too long after, but it just seems obvious that if a kid was playing with them out in the yard at least one of them would get lost. What kid wouldn’t want to play with something like that out in the yard? It’s a log, it seems to fit with the outdoors theme. The reason, though, is that it’s probably very easy to lose something like that out there.
