I really have no idea if hummingbirds do fly in formations, but my minimal amount of research, i.e. Google, turned up nothing on the subject. So, I just made something up that sounded funny. Perhaps hummingbirds themselves don’t really do this, but I could definitely imagine a flock of Tinas definitely acting in that way. At least they seem to be organized in some fashion.
