When you really stop and think about it, it really is strange that birdhouses don’t have some kind of door. Dogs and cats seem to be able to handle doors, at least the special kind that’s made for them. I don’t believe that birds wouldn’t be able to handle them. Birds are smart. I bet if someone made a birdhouse with a door on it that it would go over quite well with the bird community.
