Divination generally involves seeing patterns in randomness, though those patterns may or may not really be there or mean anything. It's fascinating how complex some divination methods are, however. The original process for coming up with a reading from the I Ching, for instance, was incredibly complicated, and the number of different permutations of results is staggering. That makes it even more fascinating that every single result is equally vague and devoid of context or any truly useful information. An interesting thing to study, nonetheless.
