Magpies are members of the crow family, and it only stands to reason that a corvid of some kind would be able to pass the mirror test, given their level of intelligence relative to other birds. Not only are they the only bird to do it, but they're the only non-mammal to do it as well. Of course, most birds fail it horribly, and have been known to be quite aggressive towards reflections of themselves. Maybe someday Lewis will succeed. It doesn't seem like Darryl is really trying, though.
