I realize that I was quite humorless as a child, just like many people, and I didn't realize it. My concept of humor came entirely from joke books sold by Scholastic. When I worked at Scholastic a year or so ago, they were still quite popular with the kids. Someone does need to either tell the kids that those jokes aren't funny or just write some better joke books.

Also, I know it's tempting to say that this comic isn't funny and tell me to try again. Doing that wouldn't be funny either. Try going for something a little less obvious.
