Traditions get started in so many odd ways. Most of the time, we don’t seem to question them, though. It’s just what we do. Why would you put a tree in your house and put a bunch of decorations on it? Who knows? Because that’s what we’ve always done. Why carve shapes into a pumpkin and put a candle in it? Actually that one’s easy: because they look really cool.
