While I haven’t seen hummingbirds stop at stop signs, I have seen them stop at other red signs before. Specifically, a particular red “no smoking” sign. It wouldn’t surprise me if they did stop at stop signs, or stop lights, or people in red shirts. I do wonder about what happens when a cardinal is around, though.
